A Southwest Airlines jet landed safely at Hobby Airport in Houston caught fire after one of his tires, reported CBS News on Tuesday. Flight 519 from New Orleans to Houston blew a tire upon landing, said a spokesman for Southwest Airlines. The pilot declared an emergency and fire struck the plane and managed to extinguish the fire. Passengers could see the evacuation of the jet through emergency chutes. No one was reported injured.
